Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the field and a strong background in both analog and digital circuit board design. As an Electrical Engineer that is part of our Research and Development team, the individual will be involved in all aspects of product design for instrumentation used for process control parameters. Our products include gas flow control and monitoring, temperature control and monitoring, process control algorithms and gas analysis technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog and digital circuits.
- Perform circuit tolerance analyses using hand calculations and Spice tools.
- Develop, refine, and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Generate detailed test plans and test reports related to product performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Work with analog to digital circuits, including cold junction and thermocouples.
- Troubleshoot using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and meters.
- Document design processes and drawings.
- Demonstrate the ability to be a team player.
- Be a self-starter who can work independently to meet deadlines.
- Experience in product design methodology.
- Willingness to work with others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical engineering.
· Proficiency in analog and digital design.
· Have an understanding of instrumentation and controls.
· Experience with Analog to digital converter circuitry.
· Experience with pressure transducers and other sensor technology.
· Proficiency in troubleshooting using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and meters.
· Familiar with Microchip Design tools.
· Experience with Eagle Schematic capture and layout software.
· Embedded C programming experience.
· Familiar with UART/SPI/I2C communications.
· Familiar with USB/Ethernet communications.
· Familiar with AC and DC Motor control.
