Overview
ESI is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC TAB Technician to join our team. This candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems and possess expertise in air and water balancing, commissioning, and troubleshooting HVAC systems for commercial and industrial facilities. As an HVAC TAB Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Requirements:
· Perform air and water balancing of HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
· Ability to work well with others as and oversee third party TAB contractors.
· Conduct functional performance testing to verify that HVAC systems meet design and performance criteria.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose issues related to HVAC systems, including airflow, temperature, and pressure imbalances.
· Adjust, calibrate, and repair HVAC components, dampers, valves, and control systems to achieve specified performance parameters.
· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure that HVAC systems are installed and commissioned correctly.
· Maintain accurate records of balancing activities, test reports, and equipment performance data. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is helpful, report templates are Excel/Word based.
· Follow safety protocols and adhere to all relevant codes and standards during balancing and commissioning procedures.
· Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and advancements in HVAC balancing techniques.
· Certified by NEBB or TABB.
· Valid Drivers License/SSN.
· Minimum of 5 Years experience.
· OSHA 10 at minimum.
· Efficient in different building controls systems (ie: Johnson Controls, Trane, etc.).
· Skilled in Duct Air Leakage Testing.
· Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
