Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at our growing practice. The ideal candidate will provide top-notch patient care. Duties:
- Assist with patient intake, including taking vital signs, collecting medical histories, and reviewing patient charts
- Support medical professionals with various tasks, such as preparing exam rooms, and helping to manage patient medical records
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare providers
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines and regulations
- Assist with imaging procedures, preparing & handling of patient specimens, and ability to take blood samples.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a medical setting, preferably with internal medicine or hospital medicine
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and medical systems
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
