The Inside Sales Representative will sell Hughes Environmental's services (commercial duct cleaning, facility cleaning, UVC light installation, arc flash assessments) to hospitals and medical facilities, state and local government entities and schools, colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
About the Inside Sales Representative position
Are you an eager sales professional adept at selling services and achieving or exceeding sales goals? The Inside Sales Representative will call on existing healthcare customers as well as members of group purchasing organizations in the state and local government and education markets for which LSS Holdings, parent company of Hughes Environmental, serves as a vendor. The ideal candidate for this position will have successful sales or telephone sales experience.
The Inside Sales Representative will work from the company’s corporate office and will report to the Director of Sales.
Salary : $45,000 plus commission
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Complete intensive sales training, learning all company services, which include commercial duct cleaning, facility cleaning, arc flash assessments, UVC light installation, ceiling and rafter cleaning and dry ice blasting
- Call on existing healthcare customers and state and local government entities and schools, colleges and universities throughout the U.S.
- Strives to understand and meet the needs of customers
- Ability to backfill sales duties for any member of the Hughes Sales Team.
- Achieves or exceeds sales quotas and other company sales goals.
- Regularly updates the Director of Sales or the President of Hughes on progress towards achieving sales goals
- Consults with subject matter experts in Operations and other parts of the company on Hughes Environmental’s services
- Process sales orders and complete Purchasing Work Orders paying attention to detail and accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience & Requirements
- Motivated by selling, exceeding sales goals and earning commissions.
- Commitment to learning and selling the company’s services.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively sell to hospitals and state, local and government entities, schools, colleges and universities
- Some familiarity with CRM, particularly Hubspot.
- Comfortable making sales calls as well as some sales support work.
- Demonstrated success selling via the telephone.
- Some experience selling services preferred.
- Proficient in using MS Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong verbal, written, listening and interpersonal skills; must be able to communicate effectively with various level of management, other staff, customers and outside vendors.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
EDUCATION / TRAINING REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma required; College degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of education.
- 2 years of successful sales experience.
- Experience selling services preferred
