Senior Psychiatric Technician

Experience in the following areas will ensure success in this role:
- Fundamentals of nursing care
- License as a psychiatric technician issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT)
- General behavioral and psychiatric procedures
- Client behavior and mental health principles and techniques involved in the care and treatment of developmentally disabled individuals
- First-aid methods, medical terminology, pharmacology
- Management assaultive behavior techniques
- Supervise the work and development of a group of nursing staff
- Required experience performing license psychiatric technician duties in a California state hospital
