Hygiene Coordinator Manager

Location: Beverly Hills
Compensation: 67,000- 70,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time M-F
Responsibilities:

Conduct daily huddles with hygienists and team members to review and coordinate the hygiene schedule for the day.

Review checkouts and end-of-day procedures to ensure all appointments are properly closed out, payments posted, statements sent, and insurance billed.

Assist in conducting audits and billing for each hygiene patient of the day.

Monitor emails and chats throughout the day to address inquiries promptly.

Manage incoming faxes, particularly related to insurance payments.

Provide coverage at the front desk and assist with phone calls as needed.

Coordinate with other offices in our group to review and adjust hygiene schedules as necessary.

Act as a point of contact for hygienists regarding schedule inquiries, patient information, and payroll matters.

Manage hygienists work schedules for multiple offices

Organize and execute the Hygiene Recall List and manage the canceled appointment and no-show list.

Conduct patient surveys to evaluate treatment satisfaction.

Implement patient review cards in hygiene rooms to gather feedback.

Set daily collection goals for each hygienist and monitor hygiene accounts receivable.

Follow up on insurance claims and serve as a contact for billing inquiries from patients and billing managers.

Address and resolve patient-related issues or conflicts throughout the day.
Additional Responsibilities:

Manage all hygienist schedules, time-off requests, and payroll processing.

Ensure adherence to correct procedures, documentation, and provider standards.

Prepare and provide vital reports on hygiene production, collection, new patients scheduled, and recovered cancellations.

Conduct quarterly performance reviews and maintain staff records.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience preferred.

Experience with insurance and billing

Experience in dental office management or related fields required.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in dental software systems and computer savvy

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
