Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 200 employees.
Job Description
Independently perform all work according to drawings on parts in order stock by means of:
- Milling:
- Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings
- Creating CAM programs for machining
- Independent quality control of the milled components
- Cylindrical grinding:
- Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings
- Independent quality control of the created components
- Eroding:
- Manufacture and machining of parts according to drawings
- Creating programs for editing
- Independent quality control of the created components
- Management of the electrode store
- All:
- Independent operation of machines
- Carrying out/cooperating with maintenance work on machines according to specifications
- Entry of dimensional changes in drawings
- Independently ensuring the necessary quality and quantity
Qualifications
Knowledge as acquired during a 3-year technical apprenticeship as (e.g. tool mechanic) and extended by at least 2 years of experience in a comparable function in the maintenance environment of injection molds.
