Position: Part-Time Assistant to the Treasurer
Hours: 20 hours per week
Location: 1 day onsite per week; the remainder remote
Compensation: $20/hr
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Reconcile ledgers
- Assist in the analysis of financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management
- Assist with audit preparations and provide documentation as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various finance initiatives
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage meetings and schedules
- Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to intercept issues before they escalate
- Project management skills to assist with managing and tracking projects
Requirements:
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Prior relevant work experience is a must
We offer a competitive pay rate of $20/hr, equivalent to what we are currently offering for a full-time position. This role provides flexibility, with most of the work being remote, and only one day required onsite each week.
