Full-Time MDS Coordinator (On-Site)
As one of the only independent, nonprofit critical access hospitals in Nevada, Boulder City Hospital is seeking a professional MDS Coordinator to be the heart of the hospital and influence our organization in a real way. The MDS Coordinator will focus on quality care measures for our Long Term Care Residents and staff. You own the workflow assessments to and to complete the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI), the electronic transmission of RAI data to the State of Nevada, along with Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) and identifying and/or transfer of Resident Assessment Group Data (RUG) to the hospital PatCom system. You would have a true effect related to the accuracy and timeliness of our quality measures, revenue cycle, and ultimately our account receivables. Given that you would work on-site in a small and very close unit; you would have resources for success and opportunities to use a truly interdisciplinary team approach. If you are self-motivated by achieving goals and eager to learn, come join our team. This role will influence in shaping our team and their best practice for the future. Our Long Term Care department is always ready to serve the community, payers, and patients with both technology and excellence in customer service. This position will allow you to have influence and ensure that the community continues to have quality healthcare services (Acute/Outpatient/Clinic and SNIF) in the area or close to home.
To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, candidates must have:
1 year of previous MDS experience or formal training that builds knowledge on tools and/or healthcare experience related to MDS, reporting measures, or revenue cycle.
Must have a valid NV RN license and BLS certification.
When working for Boulder City Hospital you gain a real connection in a small-town hospital atmosphere with friendly staff, competitive pay, and good benefits. We will grow your commitment to patient advocacy and align this to the stewardship of our non-profit organization.
