Duties
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and medical history
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results, such as laboratory tests
- Adhere to ICD-9 coding guidelines for accurate medical documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Experience working with pediatric patients, if applicable
- Proficient in using medical equipment and technology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements
- RN License
- TDaP vaccine within the past 10 years
- MMR vaccine record or titer showing immunity
- Hep B vaccine record or titer showing immunity
- Varicella vaccine record or titer showing immunity
