We are a Trucking Insurance Agency in Tamarac seeking a reliable, motivated, Insurance Processor who is a Self-Starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must have a valid Florida 440 or 220 License to start.
Requirements:
· MUST HAVE 440 License (220 preferred)
· MUST BE ABLE TO READ & WRITE English
An Insurance Processor is in charge of gathering the necessary paperwork and documentation required for someone to apply for an insurance policy. Their duties include carefully reviewing insurance applications to confirm that all essential information has been secured, organizing additional application materials and submitting applications.
Processors work at agencies to act as a liaison between that agency and the carrier underwriters who research and approve policies. Their role is to make sure that insurance applications are free of mistakes and include all of the essential information underwriters need to perform a risk assessment and a background check, preventing errors from increasing turnaround time. Processors act as a liaison between the Agency Sales Producer, Client and the Underwriter, double-checking guidelines and all essential prior-to-document conditions related to each policy before and after approval.
General Responsibilities
· Gathering information for the insurance application
· Researching and correcting mistakes in applications for clients
· Reviewing file documentation for missing or erroneous information
· Meeting new business application deadlines
· Assisting Sales Producer with requests and tasks needed to complete and process applications
