Title: Parts Counter Salesperson – Crane Division
Reports to: Parts Manager

Purpose and Scope:
To maximize the customer care and internal business processes by providing high-quality customer care via telephone communications and other administrative customer and parts-oriented functions.
Responsibilities:
· Assist customers with identifying & pricing parts
· Assist walk-in customers & vendors with their needs
· Answer incoming phone calls for the parts department
· Unload and receive all parts deliveries
· Pull parts and arrange shipping to the customer
· Package and ship parts to customers
· Inventory management in the warehouse
· Assist other branches with inventory needs as required for parts, service & sales
· Data entry
· Filing of invoices, credit memos, and delivery tickets
· Organization
· Complete assigned projects
· Any other duties assigned by the Parts Manager
· Participate in all software, equipment, and/or customer care training
Job Requirements:
· Customer service/Parts counter background/knowledge
· Training in Computer skills
Abilities/Skills:
· Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner with customers and co-workers
· Ability to make effective decisions
· Ability to multi-task and a willingness to be flexible and adaptive to change
· Ability to handle irate/disgruntled customers in a professional manner
