MLS Powersports is a family owned, high volume, multi-line powersports and equipment dealership in Georgetown, KY. We are seeking a top tier talent to serve as a sales consultant. This is a full-time position with tremendous earnings potential for the right person. You may notice that we don't hire sales people often. That's because we have very low turnover, pay well above our industry average, and we have a fantastic team of people. To be successful at MLS does not require any sort of pressure selling, cold calling or any of the unpleasant things people associate with sales. We aren't a used car dealership. We sell items that folks are excited to buy and we make the process very easy, ensuring that our sales folks get to have fun and build relationships rather than being a pushy salesperson. The position does require working most Saturdays in order to be successful.
Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and develop relationships with our customers to help them make a good decision in the purchase process.
- Accurately create deals in our DMS/CRM software system, and communicate clearly regarding pricing, features, safety considerations etc.
- Communicate effectively through electronic forms of communication like email, Facebook messenger, text, etc.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by being friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
- Be a great teammate by focusing on serving those around you, both internal, and external customers
- Special consideration will be given to avid, licensed motorcyclists and/or avid UTV enthusiasts.
Job Requirements:
- Dealership experience can be helpful but is not a requirement
- Experience with/passion for the powersports industry is very helpful
- Basic MS Office knowledge; computer skills, and internet proficiency
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Must possess and demonstrate personal & professional integrity and a strong sense of personal responsibility
- The ability to communicate and establish rapport with a very diverse customer base
- Retail experience is also very helpful to include food service, department store, outside sales etc. Folks who have been successful servers tend to excel in this role.
