Customer Care Associate & Product Specialist – E-Commerce, Retail and Wholesale
About the Company
We are a rapidly growing design, import and distribution company (national & international) with our own kids’ and youth and adult furniture brands. We sell to large furniture chains, small independent retailers and through the e-commerce channel (owned and 3rd party).
We are seeking a NEW member for our customer service team!
General description of position:
Our growing customer base includes large and small brick and mortar stores all over the US and into Canada and some other countries, large e-commerce channels like Amazon, Wayfair and our own direct to consumer selling websites as well as our retail store. Customer service is the lifeblood of our business – taking care of all our customers’ questions and issues in a courteous, accurate and fast way is critical. The job includes direct contact with retailers, end-users and 3rd party service providers such as e-commerce channels and logistics companies through phone, live chat, and in-person at our retail store.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process incoming enquiries like phone, chat and email.
Assist Customers with products and services, returns and ensuring product delivery
Resolve customer inquiries with technical assistance, enquiries and complaints in a positive, helpful manner as well as possessing strong communication skills.
Order processing and fulfilment – This includes standard ecommerce orders as well as parts replacements when required.
Trouble shoot and aid with delivery and logistics for direct to customer freight shipments
Attention to detail and meticulous follow-through is critical.
This is a fast-paced environment, and the ability to multi-task is critical.
Will be required to assemble furniture as part of ongoing training
Complete work assignments and priorities in a timely manner
SKILLS:
Strong organizational and problem solving skills
Must Be comfortable working with customers both face to face as well as virtually
Must work well in a team environment. This position requires collaborating with multiple departments depending on the customer’s needs so this skill is required.
Microsoft Office Suite on PC, (in particular Excel skills) are required. Comfortable with PowerPoint is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written etiquette for communication with customers related to product, logistics, and customer account status is a must.
Previous experience with online sales, ground, white glove, and freight shipping and order fulfillment within the furniture industry is preferred.
Experience with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus and Channel Advisor is a plus
Experience with online chat system, or in direct phone sales is a plus
