Medical Provider (MD, DO, PA or NP)
Objective: To care for patients alongside a collaborating Provider (MD or DO) during the course of open business hours.
Reports to: Medical Director
Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)
- Assess patient information provided from triage, conduct patient exam/procedures, and ultimately execute on treating appropriately to resolve patient chief complaint
- Collect biological specimens and perform testing when Medical Assistant is unable to do so
- Perform procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage, wound care,
- Work in conjunction Medical Assistants/Collaborating physicians to call back patients when deemed necessary (such as results of lab or x-ray over read) and ensure patient satisfaction
- Comply with the center’s medical protocols, policies, and technology usage
- Communicate effectively & meaningfully with Team Providers in regards to patient care and center operations
Qualifications:
- ACLS certification preferred
- Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
- Friendly, Collaborative, and Cohesive demeanor
- Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable in different situations, possess excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
