Positions available for Account Manager
The Account Manager is an office-based sales representative responsible for establishing and maintaining customer relationships, meeting sales quotas within designated territory and representing the business in a professional manner. Key responsibilities in development of new accounts, nurturing existing accounts, and coordinating with all stakeholders to ensure a positive customer experience and outcome.
Duties and Responsibilities
This role involves conducting cold calls, coordinating with customers via email, and performing site visits to proactively identify sales opportunities. Additionally, the position requires customer site visits, attending trade shows, and executing other necessary tasks to enhance customer experience and achieve sales objectives.
Sales Performance: Executes against the company’s defined quota, margin, and profitability expectations. Develops and implements detailed sales plans targeting specific products and accounts, clearly outlining key performance indicators. Ensures achievement of call volume, call quality, and responsiveness to customers.
Customer Relationship Management: Builds and maintains strong relationships with both new and existing customers. Partners with the national accounts manager to develop and deepen relationships within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Independent Service Organizations (ISOs), and other relevant organizations. Participates in business reviews with customers and senior leadership, presenting territory and account-specific sales performance.
Market and Product Expertise: Maintains a working knowledge of current market conditions and actively participates in industry activities. Holds an appropriate level of product expertise to accurately connect customer needs with suitable solutions, employing solution-oriented selling methods.
Sales Process Management: Utilizes established sales methods to identify customer pain points and opportunities, issues sales quotes, and navigates through the sales cycle to secure business. Communicates effectively with customers to provide solutions and connect them with the appropriate products and services.
Documentation and CRM Management: Works within an ERP/CRM system to create and manage documentation, track customer accounts, and monitor selling activities. Maintains detailed documentation of account activity within the company’s ERP/CRM system.
Collaboration and Customer Experience: Coordinates with customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience. Meets expectations for collaboration with stakeholders, enhancing team effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related industry experience
- Experience building customer relationships
- Proven history of attaining sales goals and knowledge of sales cycles and methods
Working conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and photocopiers.
