Overview:
Summary Statement:
The Hostperson is at the forefront of the restaurant operation and is the first and last person to interact with the guest. This role will also work closely and communicate frequently with front of house/ back of house management and staff to ensure seamless, successful guest service.
Job Duties:
Primary Job Duties: – Includes but is not limited to:
- Greet and welcome all guests upon entering the venue. Bid farewell to all guests upon departing and extend an invitation to return to visit soon.

Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency.

Oversee daily restaurant reservations and pre-seating assignment, when necessary.

Answer restaurant telephone courteously, quickly and efficiently.
- Perform all opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas.

Rotate to other Food & Beverage outlets/venues, as necessary.

Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied.

Use personal device/ cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review company documents, etc.

Participate in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns and advertising and perform model/presenter tasks. Pose for pictures as requested by management, appear in uniform or designated (logo) apparel for promotional activities at or away from venue.

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ability to effectively communicate in English.
- Ability to work in a standing position for an extended period of time.

Polished appearance and demeanor.

Excellent customer service skills.

Ability to obtain & maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures.
Preferred:
-
Previous experience with customer reservation systems.

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Minimum Education and Experience:
- At least 18 years of age.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
-
At least six months of previous customer service experience in a similar or related field.
Certificates, Licenses, Regulations:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
