Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest quality of food and presentation.
- Contribute to menu planning and development, focusing on authentic French cuisine.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Work closely with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a fine-dining French restaurant.
- Proven expertise in French cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
