The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, College of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University invites applications for a 12-month tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The faculty member will be an integral part of the doctoral and undergraduate programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders. The faculty member will be responsible for teaching didactic courses primarily at the Au.D. level; there is the potential to teach Electrophysiology I/II, Advanced Acoustics, Psychoacoustics, and Auditory Pathologies. The faculty member may also be responsible for teaching at the B.S. and Ph.D. levels, maintaining a programmatic line of research, seeking extramural funding, and performing service duties.
Minimum Education/Experience
An earned Ph.D. from an appropriately accredited institution in Communication Sciences and Disorders or a related discipline.
Specialty in the field of audiology or closely-related field.
Ability to serve as instructor for multiple courses within the audiology curriculum at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
License or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation
None
