Summary/Objective:
StretchMed in Palm Harbor is hiring for a Certified Stretch Therapist (CST) who wants to GROW with an exciting company and concept in the fitness industry! Do you have a passion for health & fitness? StretchMed is looking for reliable, enthusiastic candidates with credentialed experience in athletics, dance, exercise, weightlifting, martial arts, or other fitness-related activity that provides a good understanding of body function and movement to help communicate, demonstrate, and deliver the benefits of 1-on-1 partner assisted stretching. This is a great opportunity to gain experience and GROW in a new modality that is seeing explosive growth in the fitness industry.
StretchMed uses a combination of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) and static stretching techniques to deliver our purpose: to eliminate chronic pain, increase movement, and rejuvenate. Our Certified Stretch Therapists work with clients in 25- and 50-minute 1-on-1 sessions, anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week, depending on their needs and goals. The CST will provide stretch sessions to current clients, engage potential clients, and influence future purchase decisions.
Required education and experience:
1. College diploma or equivalent
2. Degree, license, or certification in personal training, fitness coaching, massage therapy, or other athletics or fitness-related field.
3. Must have a valid drivers license.
4. Must have reliable personal transportation for independent local travel.
5. May be required to travel to locations in Pinellas County outside of the studio in support of StretchMed activities.
6. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

9. Ability to learn and use new systems including point of sale, client scheduling, event scheduling, and others as needed.
10. Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
11. Ability to safely lift 50 pounds.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Report to the Studio Manager.
2. Complete all required training and demonstrate the ability to learn, implement, and follow the StretchMed system.
3. Be positive, proactive, and on-time for all work shifts.
4. Track time worked on a daily basis.
5. Schedule and deliver outstanding client stretch experiences, including 10-minute demo stretches at community pop-up events, Intro Stretches and Assessments (Personal
Flexibility Consultations), and full 25- and 50-minute stretch sessions.
6. Coordinate and participate in local lead generation efforts.
7. Use pop-up events to book Intro Stretches and Assessments (Personal Flexibility Consultations).
8. Conduct lead follow-up via phone calls and text messages following the StretchMed system.
9. Sell member packages to new prospective members following the StretchMed system.
10. Handle client concerns in a professional manner.
11. Develop relationships with potential members and ensure a positive view of the company in the community.
12. Must be able to stand for extended periods while physically manipulating clients through a passive range of motion with periodic resistance, in order to administer proprietary StretchMed protocols.
13. Maintain a clean, neat, and clutter free studio.
14. Maintain a high standard of professional and personal image consistent with the
StretchMed brand at all times.
15. Other responsibilities as required by the Studio Manager.

Physical demands:
The physical demand for the Part-Time Certified Stretch Therapist will include prolonged periods of standing and walking, often for several hours per day. Frequent bending, stretching, and squatting to assist patients during stretching sessions. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed for equipment and assisting patients. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise stretching techniques. Agility and flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and body types. Physical stamina to perform multiple stretching sessions throughout the day. Maintaining good posture and body mechanics to prevent strain or injury. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and provide clear instructions during sessions. Please note that these physical demands are essential for the role of a Certified Stretch Therapist to ensure the safety and effectiveness of stretching sessions for clients.
Time Requirementsposition requiring 30 week starting, plus additional potential hours as needed for in-studio stretch sessions, pop-up events, and community outreach. The 10-hour minimum schedule.
