SUMMARY: We are searching for a talented RN (with a strong background suited for working in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Primary Care) to join our Grassland office. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a clinic setting and able to rapidly learn new skills. You will manage patients through their appointments. This high-paced job requires excellent communication and service-oriented skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Routine infant, child, and adult vaccine administration
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Update and file medical records and insurance reports
- Assist during office procedures
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Registered Nurse in the State of TN with at least 1-year experience in a preferably in a clinic or physician office setting (Specialties may include: Internal Medicine, and with a strong emphasis in Pediatrics)
- Experience using electronic medical/health records
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing RN program
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required (pediatric clinic setting strongly preferred)
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Valid unrestricted state of TN RN license
- Current state license to practice as a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse
- Maintains Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification (CPR) and Advance Cardiac Life Support Certification Required for some specialties
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical guidelines include the ability to stand/walk up to eight hours/day; stoop, bend, twist. Assist patients in turning and arising from the exam table. Push wheelchair patients and assist a patient in arising from and returning to a wheelchair. Requires the ability to stand, sit, bend, reach overhead and carry 80 pounds, if necessary
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Clinical setting; exposure to communicable disease, medical preparations and other conditions common to a clinical environment.
