Anchor Health Homecare Services is seeking a diligent and organized individual to join our team as a Nursing Coordinator. As a crucial member of our healthcare organization, the Nursing Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the nursing department.
Nursing Coordinator Core Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the nursing department by managing paperwork, organizing files, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for nursing staff.
- Input and update patient information, medical records, and other relevant data into electronic systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal and external communication within the nursing department.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical and office supplies.
- Prepare reports, memos, and correspondence as required by nursing department leadership.
- Assist in quality assurance activities by performing regular audits of documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians, and administrative staff, to facilitate efficient and effective patient care delivery.
Nursing Coordinator Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
- Associate's degree or certification in healthcare administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in administrative support roles, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite and electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes is desirable but not required.
- Russian Speaking Preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
