POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Director is responsible for the coordination of the day-to-day activities of the grant and the administrative supervision of grant staff. The position will directly supervise the Youth Services Team Coordinator. The position will work directly with the external grant evaluator and evaluation project assistants to ensure timely and accurate data reporting to SAMHSA. This is a grant-funded position that ends with the ending of the grant on 6/29/2028.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in related social service field. Preferred Master’s degree in related social service field.

1 to 3 years of grant management experience, including one year of prior supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
RELATED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Project management skills with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects; Knowledge of grant administration and expectations to maintain identified budget requirements; Knowledge and understanding of the organization's mission and its objectives; Ability to work with a team and provide support to the staff; Ability to perform in cross-functional team approach and job responsibilities; Proficient in using computers with related knowledge of software programs and Internet; Knowledge of community mental health and/or substance use in order to provide advocacy and enhance an individual’s treatment and access to community resources; Strong command over written and verbal communication; Ability to effectively manage employee performance, communicate expectations and objectively rate performance of assigned employees; Knowledge of community resources and partnerships addressing mental health, substance abuse and homelessness; Willing and available to work modified schedules (weekends, holiday, etc.) as required; Ability to drive and must possess a valid driver’s license. May be called upon to travel to any Horizon worksite; transport clients, provide services to client @other locations. Regular attendance at trainings and Horizon meetings may require travel to a variety of Horizon sites; Ability to participate in and successfully pass behavioral intervention training; includes both verbal de-escalation skills and physical skills techniques to be utilized with consumers as needed.
