The Kirkbride Center is seeking a Human Resource Assistant to support the Human Resources Department in the day-to-day operations. This position assists in various HR functions, including recruitment, record-keeping, and employee onboarding. The HR Assistant is responsible for maintaining HR databases, managing paperwork, and providing administrative support to the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:

General HR Support:

Provide general support to the HR team as needed.

Assist with HR projects and initiatives.

HR Reception/ HR Director Phone Coverage

Benefits Support – Liaison between Exude and HR

Handle maintenance requests

Order supplies
-
Administrative Tasks:
-
Assist in HR-related administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and document management.

Handle employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR personnel.

Issuing uniform and Employee IDs

Employee Records:
-
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Process employment verification requests.
-
Learning Management Systems admin support. (Pending implementation)

Onboarding:
-
Help coordinate new employee orientation and training.
-
Prepare and distribute new hire paperwork.
-
Maintain applicant tracking system and candidate files.
-
Communicate with candidates regarding hiring hurdles logistics. (Background check, Drug Test etc.)

Compliance:

Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed.

Assist with audits and compliance reporting.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma/GED. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).

2 – 3 Admin Experience. HR specific (preferred).

Strong organizational and administrative skills.

Excellent communication skills.

Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite and HR software.
