Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Paralegal with a strong background in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry. The ideal candidate will lead the legal department's efforts in drafting, reviewing, and managing various contracts and legal documents. They will ensure compliance with corporate policies, conduct complex legal research, and supervise the Junior Paralegal, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all legal processes. This is a remote position, and the candidate must have a dedicated work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Support:
- Lead the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Draft, update, review, and file various contracts, including NDAs, MNDAs, Letters of Intent, Master Service Agreements, Statements of Work, Employment Contracts, and Non-Compete Agreements.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulations, including maintaining corporate records and filings.
- Conduct complex legal research and provide summaries and reports on various legal issues.
- Draft, file, and manage various entity documents for corporate entities.
- Handle trademarks and copyrights.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor the Junior Paralegal, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in the Junior Paralegal's work.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and monitor progress.
Other Responsibilities:
- Review, track, and monitor legislation impacting the company’s products and processes.
- Support litigation, mediation, arbitration, and responses to complaints.
- Assist with paperwork for regulatory bodies and compliance programs.
- Perform legal research.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Law, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably within the BPO industry.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, excellent research and writing skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Dependability with respect to confidentiality and policies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with international legal matters and compliance.
- Familiarity with BPO industry regulations and standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
Requirements:
- Legally able to be employed in the US.
