Seeking an experienced LCSW, LCPC, or an Equivalent Licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation to provide supervision and management to our Behavioral Health Team.
Duties:
- Oversee program staff, components, and workflows for a comprehensive behavioral health team.
- Provide clinical oversight and direction among members of a multi-disciplinary team comprised of degreed and non-degreed staff for highest quality service delivery.
- Review demographics and outcome measures to determine program impact
- Work with Same Day Assessment team to ensure individuals receive timely access to services.
- Continuously analyze and modify workflows as needed to increase the use of SDOH screening tools at intake and throughout services.
- Supervise and authorize when necessary written assessments and treatment plans completed by counseling staff. Ensure medical necessity for treatment and that treatment plans have goals related to the assessed service needs identified in the assessment, have methods to obtain goals, and goal attainment measures.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the management team to ensure services and processes are streamlined across sites.
- Responsible for advocating and implementing new services or adjustments in the delivery of existing services to better meet the needs of clients and the community.
- Serve as a consultant with individuals and organizations in order to enhance working relationships and integrated service delivery. Participate in meetings and conferences within and outside ComWell. Provide and/or assign appropriate staff to offer education and information to community groups on selected topics related to services.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to coordinate training, materials and standard operating procedures. Consult with the Director of Behavioral Health on revision or development of managerial policies and procedures. Ensure policies and procedures are explained to staff. Use the Standard Operating Procedures as a training tool for new employees and interns.
Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Driver’s license and proof of valid automobile insurance.
- Must meet expectations required by CANTS check, criminal record and Health Care Workers Background Check
- Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Required: LCSW, LCPC, or an Equivalent Licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
- Required: Skill level obtained through a Master’s degree in a social service field
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
