The Horsham Clinic is seeking a dynamic and talented Registrar
The Horsham Clinic is a 206 bed private behavioral healthcare facility located on a beautiful 55-acre suburban campus. We are minutes from Philadelphia, and we serve Southeastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The Horsham Clinic provides comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, and their families. Programs and services are located on the main campus in Ambler, Pennsylvania, as well as satellite day hospital programs in Pennsylvania, Delaware County, and Chester County.

The Registrar is responsible for accurate patient registration, insurance benefit verification, fee, collection, co-pays collection, discussing and making financial arrangements with patients and families and related tasks. Ensure that all patients’ financial information is documented in HMS and ensure that all paperwork is completed or scanned within a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
· High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s Degree in business administration preferred.
· 1-2 years of Hospital Registration or triage experience required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to handle multiple duties in a fast paced environment; to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows systems; with the ability to learn and become proficient in other required operating systems, within a 3 month period of time.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of staff and/or patient population in a professional manner.
- Working knowledge of behavioral health insurance plans and their benefit requirements.
- Responsible for any additional duties assigned by Director of Admissions in assisting in the Admissions department
- Demonstrated ability in the financial area of collection of patient co-pays, negotiation of self-pay situations and appropriate credit card usage.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires sufficient body mobility to accomplish essential functions. Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, stoop, and kneel with ease. Requires walking and standing often. Requires frequently speaking on the telephone. Able to write legibly and grammatically to convey patient behavior and information in the patient chart. Requires normal or corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must be able to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word. Communicating fluently and effectively both verbally and in writing in English. Ability to perform CPItechniques. Ability to appropriately interact with all program staff, patients, visitors, attending physicians, and other department representatives.
