Job Summary
The licensed sales agent position is focused on driving new insurance sales for the agency. Primary duties include actively pursuing live leads via text and calls, fielding inbound calls from prospects, gathering all information, providing insurance policy quotations, following up on completed quotes, quoting multiple lines of insurance (home, auto, motorcycle, etc), explaining quotes and answering all applicable questions, adhering to our guidelines and established sales processes, maintaining a super positive attitude, and generally being awesome.
Responsibilities & Duties
Quickly reaching out to live leads via calls, emails, and one text.
Engaging in positive and outgoing sales conversations with prospects.
Providing appropriate insurance coverages in quotes.
Understanding and being able to explain coverages.
Answering questions relating to coverages and insurance in general.
Thoroughly following up with prospects on quotes provided.
Staying focused and on task while on the clock.
Participating in our virtual office Zoom.
Adhering to proven and established sales processes.
Maintaining key performance indicators on par with the rest of the sales team (talk time, quote volume, production).
Qualifications & Skills
- Property & Casualty Insurance License or the ability to acquire said license in a timely manner.
- Advanced computer skills
- A professional level of spelling and grammar skills
- Excellent business writing and editing skills
- A sales drive and outgoing personality.
- Advanced problem solving skills.
- Desire to hold a long term position in our agency, with opportunity for advancement as our agency grows.
Compensation:
- Compensation is designed to be 50% or more commission. Commission is earned by selling personal lines insurance policies, such as home and auto insurance.
- There is no cap on commission.
- Competent and driven sales agents will have no problem achieving the target compensation range of $50,000 to $90,000 per year.
***Work Location: On site, then receive option to work from home 2d/wk once trained.
