VP of Sales and Marketing
Bauer's Intelligent Transportation accommodates individuals, corporations, educational facilities, government agencies, and even airports, with one of the largest fleets in America— over 150 luxury vehicles — from state-of–the-art eco-luxury business shuttles to black car & VIP services.
This is a unique opportunity to be a member of the of one of the most successful transportation companies in the Bay Area. We need creative thinkers and builders with strong sales and marketing experience who are passionate about developing a new kind of sales organization. You’ll be on the frontlines introducing businesses to our product while developing and testing new strategies around sales. We need a highly motivated self-starter, with an engaging personality who thrives in a team environment.
What you’ll do:
● Drive revenue generation for business through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses.
● Understand lead qualification and work with sales operations to develop process and accuracy.
● Build sales playbook that will be used to scale globally and train our growing team.
● Be able to execute in short-term sprints while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success.
● Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and in-person meetings and video meetings.
● Identify prospect needs, understand business drivers behind requests, and explain the value proposition.
● Create and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that successfully achieve business objectives.
● Develop an operating budget for the sales and marketing division that meet business goals.
● Complete market research and analyze results to adjust sales and marketing strategy for maximum success.
● Establish positioning, identify target audiences, and develop marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments
● Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
● Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to build successful strategies
● Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
Requirements:
● Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred
● 10+ years of Sales and Marketing in the transportation industry.
● Previous experience in senior sales role with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present strategy and results to staff members at every level of the organization.
● Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with current and prospective clients.
● Demonstrated skill in developing, negotiating, and closing on critical sales contracts.
● Experience working to and exceeding new sales KPIs.
● Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity
● Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools
● Ability to make advertisers and agencies aware that they can advertise and activate on, and in, our tech commuter buses, with the opportunity to expand the practice as it succeeds
Preferred Qualifications
● Proven track record of growing client accounts and revenue targets.
● Demonstrable experience using insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process.
● Proficiency with online marketing and social media strategy
● Established press and media contacts
● Extensive knowledge of the transportation industry and its targets.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
