Job Description:
- Oversee departmental management, ensuring compliance with state regulations and client expectations.
- Conduct regular management meetings to keep departments informed.
- Perform daily walk-throughs to ensure the facility is presentable and interact with residents, staff, and visitors.
- Develop marketing plans and meet sales goals in collaboration with the Regional Marketing Director.
- Provide orientation, initial training, and ongoing education for staff.
- Foster positive associate relations and implement staff appreciation programs.
- Reduce staff turnover to below 40% annually by setting clear expectations and providing support.
- Monitor resident care and ensure all needs are met with proper documentation.
- Manage labor and budgets within operating parameters.
- Review accounts receivable and minimize charge-offs.
- Minimize Worker’s Compensation claims through proactive training and risk management.
- Address conflicts among residents, staff, and families effectively.
- Ensure timely submission of all required documents to the Owner and Office Manager.
- Oversee routine maintenance and ensure building remains in good condition.
- Maintain confidentiality of personal and health information.
- Drive for various community business purposes as needed.
- Participate in Manager on Duty program on weekends as assigned.
- Notify Owner of any potential liabilities immediately.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Assisted Living certification or Administrator’s license. Or RN / LPN.
- Valid state driver’s license and at least 21 years of age.
- Previous experience in business development or a related setting.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
