A contract manufacturing company specializing in medical devices and life sciences is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to join their team.
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing support for Creating Purchase Requisitions, Inventory Control, auditing, rejected parts, return to Stock excess materials on manufacturing floor.
- Audit kits being issued from stockroom to manufacturing assuring the kit accuracy.
- Update system status to line leads, letting them know of any material shortages or possible line down situations.
- Work with purchasing to drive material shortages.
- Prepare shipping kits along with spares shipment kits in manufacturing.
- Perform cycle counts in manufacturing to assure inventory accuracy.
- Bulk materials replenishment necessary for manufacturing processes.
Education/Experience:
- Computer literate, ability using MS office-based documents (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Oracle experience is a major plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
