Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team. As an AWS Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with our cloud infrastructure. You will also be responsible for ensuring the security, scalability, and efficiency of our cloud resources.
Responsibilities:
· Cloud Infrastructure:
o Design, build, and maintain our cloud infrastructure on AWS
o Ensure high availability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud resources
o Implement and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more
· Security and Compliance:
o Ensure security and compliance of cloud resources with industry standards and best practices
o Implement and manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls
o Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
· Application Integration:
o Work with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with cloud infrastructure
o Implement and manage APIs, SDKs, and other integration points
· Monitoring and Optimization:
o Implement and manage monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and more
o Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
o Ensure efficient use of cloud resources and identify areas for improvement
· DevOps and Automation:
o Implement and manage DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and more
o Automate cloud resource provisioning and management using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools
Requirements:
· Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
· Experience: 4+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering, with a focus on:
o AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more
o Cloud security and compliance
o DevOps and automation tools
· Skills:
o Strong understanding of AWS services and their applications
o Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
o Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks
o Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and more
o Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
· Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional, or equivalent
Nice to Have:
· Experience: Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker), serverless computing (e.g., Lambda), and machine learning (e.g., SageMaker)
· Skills: Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Node.js, or Ruby, experience with agile project management methodologies
· Certifications: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional, or equivalent
