Exposed Design Group is looking for qualified Project Manager’s to join a growing and exciting team in Phoenix, AZ. While this is an individual role, your primary responsibilities will ensure the budgeted financial outcomes of assigned projects while maintaining and building client relationships.
Core responsibilities of our Project Manager:
- Development and maintenance of client/customer relationships
- Management of projects from initial client/customer contact and hand-off to the field production team with confirmed client scheduling and finalization of project, through accounting close
- Pre-production process to include site surveys/site walks to verify needs for job start and completion.
- Developing/tracking project budgets to include all costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors
- Management of master schedules, project time lines and milestones while documenting required project management tools.
- Providing daily updates on progress for all current projects in production to client’s construction superintendent.
- Providing updates/formal weekly schedules for all current and prospective projects to executive management
- Change order management internally and to the client.
- On-site relations with client/customer and facility representatives,
- Identify potential sales opportunities, communicate and assist in new business development.
- Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management strongly preferred (or related experience)
- 3+ years of practical experience in a project administration preferred
- Ability to regularly communicate analyzed data to client and team to achieve project goals
- Highly organized with strong analytical skills
- Demonstrated ability to support or lead Business Development initiatives as assigned or requested
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients
- Ability to manage all aspects of construction projects effectively and efficiently including, but not limited to Budgeting, Scheduling, Submittals, Change orders
- Demonstrated high level of performance in project budgeting, contract negotiations and scheduling
- Ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client’s representatives, and team members
- Ability to satisfactorily identify conflicts and address project and performance concerns.
- Duties require good judgment, initiative and ability to deal with last-minute changes or critical issues.
- Strong focus on client service.
- Ability to work in a faced passed environment on multiple projects
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong knowledge of project management and accounting principles relating to construction industry
- Solid proficiency in all Microsoft Office Products;
- Knowledge of construction project management/accounting-related software applications or ability to learn required project management software.
