PROJECT COORDINATOR - Electrical Enclosure Production Dept.
Nemaco is interested in hiring a talented Project Coordinator for a job shop environment for final production of custom electrical enclosures. The candidate would be assigned to work in both the office and the production warehouse area. The primary objective of the Project Coordinator is to plan, organize and control production in the company’s OEM Department to ensure that goods are produced efficiently, on time, within budget and product standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Projects & Coordinate all products & materials in warehouse facility
- Supervise & Manage Production Employees
- Schedule, track and coordinate electrical enclosure final assembly & quality control.
- Track and re-order parts inventory, misc. shop material and equipment.
- Follow and enforce safety in the production shop environment..
- Read and understand mechanical drawings & production traveler paperwork.
- Manage projects and coordinated production workers job assignments.
- Motivate, support & provide guidance to production staff in effort to meet client service needs
- Monitor workers to ensure safety and health standards are met to keep the organization accident-free
- Ability to apply common sense and competence to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Quality assurance of assemblies within production area
- Maintain all work areas to comply with 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety)
- Ensure the safe working environment is always maintained and that the appropriate safety regulations and policies are being adhered to
- Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
- Assign & manage the workflow for a staff between 2 - 4 members
- Conduct monthly report of production schedules
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 2 to 5 years Experience is required (no exceptions) ****
- Must be fluent in English language - Strong communication skills ****
- Must have production coordination & supervisor experience (no exceptions) ****
- Mechanical background: production assembly shop, mechanic shop, sheet metal shop, machine shop or equipment design environment.
- Must be computer literate including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Associate or Bachelor degree in tech area or business is preferred.
- Must understand how to use hand tools and power equipment.
- Must understand how to use calipers and inspection equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must know how to use hand / power tools.
- Work in both office and in the warehouse (any environment).
- Must be able to manage inventory control & purchase stock materials.
- Must be able to drive a forklift in warehouse.
- College Degree: Minimum 2 Yr. Associates Degree, 4 Yr. Degree Preferred.
- Education: Business or Engineering is preferred

- Tech Skills: Mechanical Design, CAD drafting, SolidWorks
- Administrative: Accounting QuickBooks Knowledge.
- Supply Chain Management Technology, Logistics, Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Design, sheet metal fabrication
- Office Manager or Production Supervisor Experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
