AS+P seeks a full-time Project Manager with strong design and management skills to develop single family residential projects from early conception through completion. The PM will work closely with fellow support staff and report to firm Partners through all phases of the project.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Schematic Design
- Plan and develop small to large custom residential projects with minimal supervision
- Deftness for code review and analysis
- Main point of contact for client from design through completion
- Develop materials and presentations for client meetings with support staff
- Responsible for scheduling and leading client meetings
+ Construction Documents
- Lead Project Team during Documentation
- Review documents for accuracy and technical details
- Develop and review Project Specifications
- Establish and maintain project milestones, deadlines and delivery dates
- Coordinate and issue documents to Builders, Clients and Consultants
- Assist Client during Bidding or Contract Negotiation with Builders
+ Construction Administration
- Participate in Site Visits/Meetings
- Track and review of Shop Drawings
- Communicate with Project Team throughout construction
- Leadership
- Participate in firm activities to strengthen office culture
- Possess a drive to mentor and teach younger staff
- Ability to supervise staff on multiple projects in various phases
- Share ideas and creative solutions to foster a collaborative environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Work Experience: Minimum of 8 years’ experience in residential design working at a professional architecture office
- Education: Professional Degree in Architecture
- Seeking professional licensure, but not required
- Software Proficiency: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (familiarity with Microsoft TEAMS also a plus), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop preferred), SketchUp and Lumion (a plus, but not required)
- Skills and Conduct: Strong Design skill and ability to communicate graphically, Detail-oriented and organized, Excellent Time Management Skills and task prioritization, Knowledge of construction materials, methods and technical detailing, Desire to learn, Ability to supervise while knowing when to delegate, Adaptable to project changes and timelines, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Maintains a high-level of confidentiality regarding projects and clients, Communicative and professional with clients and fellow staff and able to relay information in an efficient manner, Team mindset for the work we do and care that goes into each project

Pay: $93,898.44 - $113,081.99 per year
