JOB SUMMARY: At Children’s Learning Adventure, we remain committed in bringing the highest quality early childhood and school-age academic enrichment to our children and their families. We are the leading child care company providing a private school education in a child care center. Our dedicated education team works hard to guarantee that our programs are current while utilizing the most recent research standards to enhance the learning experience of the children in our programs.
The School Age Director has the overall responsibility for the operations of the school age and summer camp programs. The School Age Director is a leader who achieves profitability for the company through daily tasks related to new enrollment and retaining existing families. We are looking for an experienced individual who is ready to lead our school to success. Our ideal candidate would be a professional in promoting a positive image in and out of our building while ensuring the best educational and nurturing environment is provided for our community.
FISCAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maximizes profitability and enrollment in the school age program
- Ensures accuracy and timely collection of tuition in accordance with company policies and procedures • Maintains an accurate financial accounting of the school age and summer camp operations and protects the company’s monetary assets
- Takes responsibility for company assets and manages classroom supplies
- Makes purchases necessary to school age and summer camp program operations while maximizing operational profit
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- The School Age Director’s qualifications MUST meet or exceed state licensing requirements for age, education and experience required
- A degree in Education, Business, or related field required
- Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification required
- Experience in child-care management preferred (15+ employees desired)
- Knowledge of state licensing preferred
- Revenue and enrollment oriented
- Demonstrates strong customer service
- Computer literate in Microsoft applications (i.e., Work, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficient writing and interpersonal skills
- Concrete knowledge of transportation and field trip safety
- Professional demeanor
- Comfortable with public speaking
