Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing support.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to assist in various dental procedures.
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment using aseptic techniques.
- Assist with general dentistry procedures and an ability to work with children
- Utilize premium skills such as EMR systems and HIPAA compliance to ensure accurate record-keeping and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Chairside assisting
- Dental terminology
- Knowledge of general dentistry procedures
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to assist in prosthodontics and endodontics
- Proficient in aseptic technique
- Understanding of human anatomy
- Experience with Dental software
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to work in pediatric dentistry
- Competency in X-Ray procedures
- Skill in dental reception duties
- Experience in four-handed dentistry
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Understanding of medical imaging techniques
- Experience in medical documentation and coding
- Familiarity with medical records
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
