White Mountain Community Health Center is a non-profit providing comprehensive primary care to men, women and children, with dental care, sexual & reproductive healthcare, substance use disorder treatment, and support services. We are looking for a full-time certified medical assistant (CMA) or licensed practical nurse (LPN) to join our clinical team:
- The CMA or LPN is responsible for the care and comfort of all patients and their families. Responsible for rooming patients; taking vital signs; performing phlebotomy; assisting with procedures; maintaining appropriate practice logs; informing patients of normal lab results; patient flow and comprehensive documentation to support the care of the patient. Performs phlebotomy and medication administration under provider direction.
- The CMA or LPN must be detail-oriented and highly organized, with excellent interpersonal skills, and able to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and friendly manner at all times. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times, have knowledge of patient care and examination procedures, and a firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies.
- This job requires completion of an accredited medical assistance certification or licensed practical nurse program and a current BLS certification. No experience is required, we will train qualified applicants.
- We are only considering candidates who are vaccinated against COVID-19 or will be fully vaccinated before they start. Accommodation is available.
- This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with no nights, weekends, or holidays.
