Essential Duties:
· Provides prompt, efficient, friendly service to all customers, wholesale and retail.
· Processes customer needs, complaints, and problems
· Maintains customer contact as needed
· Performs Order entry continuously; daily
· Manages dated orders
· Documents all Order Entry to build departmental KPI’s
· Works directly with Operations Manager to streamline Customer Order Forms and Order Entry
· Provides follow-up calls and reminds customers to place their orders
· Completes all vendor and item set-up forms
· Serves as a liaison with all the proper parties to ensure that forms are completed in their entirety and that information is accurate and up to date
· Responds to customers comments and complaints
· Inputs and communicates all sample requests utilizing Syspro, email and other forms of communication
· Communicates distribution issues to the operations manager, and follow up for resolution
· Communicates/transfers special requests and key-account issues and inquiries to Supervisor
· Obtains, learns, and maintains routing guides for key account customers
· Communicates requirements to and alerts Supervisor of any issues
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years customer service and sales experience required; Able to thrive in a fast paced, high-volume environment; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Strong analytical, organizational and follow-up skills; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks; Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic; Friendly personality; Proficiency in MS Office suite; Experience with ERP systems is required. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with managers, and customers.
