The Personal Assistance Services (PAS) Supervisor is responsible for coordinating the delivery of all PAS client services and evaluating on-going appropriateness of client care; responding to calls from the field staff, and other referral sources; hiring, orienting, and disciplining staff members. Insures that client records are current and complete.
- Interviews, selects, hires, orients and disciplines all PAS staff
- Oversees the orientation and training of all new staff and is available as a resource person and role model. Assures staff competence
- Performs all marketing functions of referral sources
- Performs the initial assessment of client needs, coordinates Care Plan with client/family
- Reviews documentation to insure high quality care, consistent documentation related to Care Plans, accuracy, and timeliness
- Assigns and supervises PAS staff, giving consideration to the level of care required by the client
- Makes supervisory visits as required to evaluate Caregiver and ensure client satisfaction
- Responds to calls and provides needed information and/or direction to field staff and referral sources
- Handles and follows-up on Incident Reports and complaints
