Quality Control Inspector
Hours: Monday - Friday | Day Shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Target Pay Rate Range: 25.0 USD - 30.0 USD per hour
Top Skill Required: At least 5 years of experience in dimensional inspection, hardness inspection, LP inspection, and MT inspection. MT and LP certifications are a plus but not required.
Previous Oracle experience is a plus but not required.
Job Role: A Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established quality standards and specifications. They perform inspections to identify any defects or deviations from quality requirements. Quality Inspectors use various tools and techniques to measure and evaluate the quality of materials, components, and finished products. They document and report any non-conformities and work closely with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Additionally, they may participate in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections on components.
- Perform source inspections at facilities.
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain files of inspection documents.
- Review inspection records received for compliance.
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
- Prepare and coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for nonconforming parts.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
- High School Education or GED
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or related field
Additional Requirements:
- Perform dimensional inspections on components and assemblies
- Knowledge in use of precision measuring equipment.
- Experienced in dimensional inspection in a manufacturing facility.
- Read & Interpret Design Engineering Drawings.
- Coordinate and assist inspections of material and goods received for compliance with specifications.
- Prepare and coordinate Nonconformance Reports for nonconforming parts.
- Good oral and written communications.
- Maintain inspection and measuring equipment.
- Experience in Liquid penetrant / Magnetic Particle inspection preferred.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
- Comply with all company and HSE policies and procedures.
