We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Interventionists to join our team. As a Behavior Interventionist, you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals 2 years old to 21 years old with behavioral challenges. Duties:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with behavioral challenges
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with crisis management and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Support clients in developing and improving social, communication, and daily living skills
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Assist with medical documentation and ensure adherence to medical terminology standards
- Provide support to clients with behaviors, Autism, ADHD, and other developmental delays.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with individuals with behavioral challenges is highly desirable
- Knowledge of crisis management techniques and ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Familiarity with data collection methods and ability to accurately record data
- Understanding of medical records, medical terminology, and HIPAA regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with individuals with behavioral challenges
