The Wilmot Union High School District is seeking applicants for the Comptroller position. This role constitutes a full-time, 12-month commitment, totaling 261 working days.
The Comptroller will work under the direction of the Director of Business Services to monitor, report, and support all District business, budgetary and financial reporting requirements.
The applicant must possess the following qualifications:
- Significant experience and knowledge in generally accepted accounting principles.
- Must have organizational and communication skills and be detail oriented.
- Knowledge of governmental accounting, payroll, accounts payable, budgetary forecasting, budgetary analysis management, budgetary control procedures, financial analysis/management, and financial control procedures.
- Demonstrated proficiencies in computer applications such as Excel, Word, Skyward, etc.
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience. (CPA designation preferred).
- Commitment to the mission and values of Wilmot Union High School.
