SUMMARY
This position will be the receptionist and greeter of the insurance agency. This includes detecting the reason for the visit/call/email and assisting with finding the solution or directing to an agent when needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
A. Professionally and promptly answer business calls.
B. Assist clients when possible
C. Redirect clients to agents when needed
D. Communicate with clients and other agents via email, phone and USPS mail
E. Monitor and order supplies as needed
F. Accept and post payments from clients
G. Understand and utilize Agency Management System
H. Prepare monthly reports for meetings
I. Bookkeeping
J. Obtain license in Property/Casualty Insurance
K. Attend educational meetings and events as needed

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratios, and percents.

This is a non-exempt position. Regular, Full-Time, 30 or more hours per week.
