Key Responsibilities:

Schedule all appointments for prepaid & customer loads, working with shipping carriers and schedule finished goods receiving appointments.

Schedule incoming trucks in and out of the appropriate docks

Verify Chep pallet needs for each day’s production, communicate with Team Leader regarding staging area needs.

Set up pallet exchanges, as needed, as well as com checks.

Responsible for all documents and administrative duties related to shipments and receipts.

UPS- Freight responsibility for adding m/b, figuring freight cost, printing bill of lading, invoice prep & filing of documentation.

Print and confirm daily pick tickets; print order bill of ladings and prep orders. Assist loaders with allocations with Locator System

Maintain trailer inventory maintenance, RPA files, & carrier performance tracking information.

Order supplies for 3PLs such as Chep pallets and temperature recorders.

Perform other duties as directed.

Follow all company policies and procedures. Comply with all GMPs, food safety and quality procedures to ensure that food safety and quality objectives are met. Comply with all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment. Report all safety, food safety and quality problems to management. Work cooperatively with team and peers.

Must be able to fluently speak, understand, write, and read in English.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Required

High school diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience in shipping/ receiving traffic environment preferred.

Must be able to communicate accurately and clearly both orally and in writing using electronic media telephone and direct contact with internal and external personnel.
