Job
Summary:
Ensures all stores comply with all security, safety, and loss prevention procedures and liaises with Risk &
Loss Prevention to address gaps/needs
Allocates
time between the
office and the field (roughly a 50/50 split) to effectively hold District/Area Managers accountable for ensuring locations
are meeting expectations and coaches team as needed
Coordinates with Ops Leadership, Legal, HR, and Risk &
Loss Prevention to investigate and address workplace
incidents
Ensures all locations
are passing operational and safety inspections and are meeting standards for appearance and brand standards, coordinating with the Fuel Brand Manager and Food Service Leadership as needed
Regularly monitors
maintenance requests in Mpulse and coordinates with Maintenance and
Facilities to escalate significant repair and maintenance
needs to ensure they are addressed in a timely manner
Reviews customer complaints received through “Refuel
Listens” and is responsible for timely and appropriate resolution

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Human Resources
Recruits, interviews, hires, and
trains new staff.
Financial
Takes proactive measures
to prevent and resolve inventory
losses caused by theft or
accounting errors and investigates
significant shrink
issues
Responsible for
overall profitability of store locations
including sales, gross profit dollars and margins,
shrink, payroll,
and expenses

Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong
understanding of convenience store and restaurant business, general management,
and financial acumen.
Ability
to write, analyze, and evaluate operating reports, Profit and Loss statements,
internal and external.
Business
correspondence in a clear and concise manner.
Ability
to relate to a diverse workforce and can effectively influence others
throughout the organization.
Ability
to work independently and as a team player to leverage relations to accomplish
goals.
Highly
adaptable to change.
Strong
organizational and time management skills are critical.
Proficiency
in MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel); ability and willingness to learn
PowerPoint.
Demonstrate
ability to work “on-call” schedule
Clean
driving record.
Demonstrate
problem-solving and time management skills.
Ensures stores are compliant
with state and local licensing requirements (e.g., occupancy, health
& safety permits;
tobacco, alcohol, and lottery licensing)
Ensures store management is maintaining appropriate inventory
levels and orders
are placed on a regular schedule
Ensures stores are maintaining updated planograms and promotional marketing
per the direction of the Marketing team
Reviews out-of-stocks and corrects stocking
issues as needed – stores should always
be well-stocked with merchandise
Ensures store pricing is up-to-date and corrects pricing
issues as needed by working with the Pricebook
team
Education and
Experience:
5-7
years of successful multi-district operations or equivalent experience in the
industry.
High
school diploma or equivalent
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Regularly assesses
and has plans to address talent gaps, for both existing and or future
leadership needs
Plans in place to
teach, coach, educate and develop DMs/AMs empowering them to achieve intended
outcomes
Conducts formal performance reviews with DMs/AMs on an annual
basis; provides regular, ongoing feedback
Working
environment and physical requirements:
Prolonged
periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be
able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 75%.
