East Greenwich Pediatrics is enthusiastically recruiting a mental health
clinician to join our integrated behavioral health team 32 hours a week.
We are open to considering applicants who are pre-licensed mental health counselors
in need of supervised post degree clinical hours. Pre-licensed candidates would
practice fully under the supervision of our licensed psychologist / director of integrated behavioral health as they pursue independent licensure.
This position is flexible and offers opportunities to work in the office and remotely from home.
The mental health clinician would work collaboratively with our pediatricians, nurse
practitioners, and psychologist to coordinate and provide mental health care for our
large pediatric practice.
Responsibilities would include offering therapeutic interventions, evaluating need and
acuity, completing risk assessments, coordinating with community providers, managing data, supporting families in making connections with mental health care, communicating and consulting with schools, and working closely with the director of integrated behavioral health on program development projects.
All clinicians will be trained / exposed to a variety of modalities and interventions in child and family behavioral health.

Pay range /year salary depending on experience and credentials
Schedule:
32 hours / week; majority in person, flexibility for remote hours.
Schedule to be regular from week to week but set based on needs of practice.
The office is closed for six observed holidays.

Qualifications:
● Masters or Doctorate degree from an accredited college or university.
● Independently licensed in the State of Rhode Island (LICSW, LMHC,
PHD)
● Pre-licensed clinicians will be considered
● Previous experience working with children
● Preference but not required given for those with experience in medical
settings
