Responsibilities:
- The Full Charge Bookkeeper will manage full-cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, month-end close, cash flow, financial statement preparation, and audit
- Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll personnel.
- Manage Accounts Payable
- Maintain monthly accounting close
- Form cash account journal entries including loans, taxes, bank fees, 401(k) deductions, etc
- Oversee our banking portals
- Assemble sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments
- Record budget transfers
- Prepare cash flow projections, as needed
- Competent in credit card management and reconciliation and perform monthly account reconciliations and general ledger transactions.
- Review and analyze month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial data
- Manage the cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts to review with the COO
- Monitor sources and uses of cash as well as provide a balance sheet and cash flow forecasting throughout the company
Qualifications
- Strong Quickbook experience
- Profit Loss experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to receive criticism well
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
Position Requirements:
- 10+ years of accounting experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting practices, policies and procedures, and budgeting
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate analytical and self-management skills
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong use of Excel and other Microsoft Office software applications
- Strong knowledge
