Job Description: We are in search of an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who can assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in speech pathology, exhibit a patient-centered approach to care, and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and goals.
- Provide therapy services to patients of all ages, from children to adults.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and their families about communication disorders and appropriate treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with diverse patient populations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy.
