Kellogg, Hansen, Todd Figel & Frederick, P.L.L.C. is seeking an IT Specialist to provide hands-on, telephone and email support to end-users on a variety of technical issues. The successful candidate must demonstrate excellent customer service, organizational, communication, interpersonal and multi-tasking skills. The candidate must possess the ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and external contacts and work as an effective team member, meet tight deadlines with the flexibility to handle a variety of tasks and shift priorities simultaneously.
The candidate must be confident, professional, anticipate needs, take initiative, be detail-oriented, work with minimum supervision, be dependable, thrive under pressure and possess excellent technical skills. This position requires a high level of discretion for confidential work and information, and the ability to appropriately handle critical information and sensitive situations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide in-depth support for standard and industry specific software applications

Identify, research and resolve technical issues

Perform hardware and software installation, configuration and upgrades

Track and monitor support issues to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution to problems

Provide software training/IT orientation to new employees
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related or technical field or commensurate experience

One to two years help desk or PC hardware/software support and familiarity with document management systems is preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Active Directory, computer hardware and networks

Training experience and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner

Ability to learn and apply new technical skills and support new systems and applications

Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to embrace and adapt to changing situations, environments and tasks

Ability to identify and resolve complex computer problems
